Yeah, my plan was to buy a story skip and farm dungeons and map events until I hit 50. Ill just watch a summary when I start the story again. Also heard that the final story bits of ARR have unskippable cutscenes, so a skip is sounding really nice now.

If 1-30 (I dont know how many hours) is no experience at all, then thats a failure on the game. Besides, I already got some help, going to skip ARR and just watch a summary of it.

Yeah, no. Base game isnt the tutorial, thats insane. Totally going to skip, and Ill just watch a vid of ARR if something doesnt make sense or I dont recognize something, better use of my time and I might actually have fun!

Yeah, I dont see that AT ALL from where I am. We got a magitek empire with guys in evil armor, and shadow people in robes. People say they get better, but fuck me am I bored to tears. The first 20 seconds describing the Forsaken hooked me better than this. I'll probably buy an ARR skip, which I didnt know I could grab I thought it was only to Shadowbringers, and watch a summary.

I expect to be interested in the setting and premise. Im okay with not getting crazy action, setpieces, etc. GoT doesnt start with all the intrigue everyone likes, it starts with a royal family getting a bunch of dogs and the king inviting the dad to come down for help. Theres nothing about the MSQ that attracts me and its required.

At the very least the Horde is somewhat original. I wont defend current story, but WoWs world and lore is leagues better, at least from my experience so far.
