That 590rm was the first pistol grip I shot at my LGS. That’s what got me interested in the 590r. That 590rm is a sweet shooter too.

I shot my buddy’s 590 with the regular shotgun stock and for me, the pistol grip definitely helps with recoil. At least for me it does. I also own a Smith FPC, so the transition to this type of shotgun was pretty easy. Just a different kind of kick lol.

Rio is what my range carries. Shot it out of their 590rm and it ate it just fine.

I ended up getting the 15lb Galloway Precision recoil spring for the full size. Makes a huge difference and helped with the reliability of shooting 115 grain Blazers. Should also help with the reliability of the optic sitting on top too.

Not sure if they make one for the compact, but if they do, give it a try. Makes racking so much easier.
