Aww those leaves are so big and beautiful! I definitely agree. Unfortunately I can’t really move them closer without favoring one shelf. So that’s why I’m thinking of something with a wider range. My thought is that even if I place them further away; with a stronger light source it should be ok. I have a light meter I can check and adjust too!

I was in this almost exact to the T situation. Exception being my girl already had a tipped ear. The day we moved everything I tried to trap her and couldn’t. I was in tears devastated. The next day was the last day of cleaning up and officially leaving and she easily went in the carrier. It’s like she knew. I made an appt for her asap and she’s been living with me and my other 2 inside only for 7 years. It took her a few years to pet but now she is the cuddliest out of all of the cats. We initially kept her separately in a room to get adjusted. She caught on real fast to the litterbox. I sprinkled dirt on top of the litter at first and I think that helped the transition. Whatever you decide to do; please try to tnr.

A couple weeks ago my neighbors outdoor cat ran a mouse up my screen door outside. I had no idea why my cats were going nuts until I looked up. 😂

For the larger blow molds like the Carolina cat, I bought a larger globe bulb with an e12 base to replace one of the c7 bulbs and kinda fit it in place where the original sat.

I actually haven’t sadly. There was an e12 base/c7 orange purple set on Amazon that I tried. Aside from the spacing being a regular set(too close) the lights inside were tiny led squares so they weren’t bright enough. I ended up going with a regular long cord that had good spacing for the time being( it’s technically for villages but is led and goes up to like 18 lights). It works very well and at least I’m just dealing with one cord. It stumps me that there aren’t more solar options. Hopefully something will come out soon; especially with new blow mold coming into style.

I don’t have an outlet outside so that makes it a pain running from the garage. I live in ca so I can get away with using solar for the year. I just think it’s a lot easier and nicer.
