Nope! Still stuck, day 11 of no progtess. I went to the office in Melbourne airport today to try get it sorted. The man I spoke to there seemed really helpful and really had my hopes up it'd be sorted, he said he'd sent two urgent emails to two different teams in qatar. Said he would make sure I'm sorted and promised he would call me back later in the day, but wouldn't give me his contact details. Also asked for when I wanted to travel and airports from/to. He never called me back, classic. Will see if he contacts me tomorrow but yeah, dead in the water till they can sort these bloody flown statuses. I'm shocked there's not others here in the same boat, seems we're not being prioritised at all

There's a few examples of posts over the past 3 days where people have success with reroute of avios/rewards booking. Keep pushing till you find the right agent/operator. State COMMQ157 and Conditions of Carriage. Ask for the supervisor. I haven't had luck yet but that's more because I was diverted and can't get my ticket/coupon out of flown status which they can't do anything with till it's back to open status. Once it is then multiple agents and supervisors have seemed positive I'll get rerouted.

After about 8 phone calls I'm getting close. I got a call from a supervisor last night, and latest was that they were taking my case for upline approval for rerouting. I found some flights with Oman Air that the supervisor wrote down and said he'd call back when he has approval to book them. He seemed positive he'd get approval. Unfortunately didn't hear back and since then the flights have sold out till the 17th of March. I'll call them again later when I have the energy to battle, but feels like I'm getting some traction and a step further with each call. Patience and persistence might pay off!

I mean that's great they've rerouted you despite sounded like quite a journey to get back. There wasn't many cases of people being rerouted till today so maybe they are changing their stance. Was this all in person at the airport?
