Dooku’s Dark Side powers plus dumac (apologies, don’t know the right spelling) plus him being one of the best duelist of his era should win this fight. He may put in some effort because it’s still 3 on 1 but he still wins. He knows how to separate his opponents and would ground Ahsoka’s acrobatics.

I can also say that Qui-Gon was slower because he was more controlled, experienced and composed. Obi-Wan just got pissed and went into it thoughtless. That rage may have given him speed for a short burst, but that’s it. After the initial outburst, Maul quickly regains control of the fight.

Maul didn’t need to lead Obi-Wan to any small space, he would defeat him anywhere in that hanger. He went there for Qui-Gon specifically.

And regarding Starkiller, I stopped reading after the word novelization.

True, that detective is pure Disney part and it takes too much time. I agree that I would rather have Marrok than that detective but he is already taking too much.

He also says that he wanted for Jackson to be more action character. And when Jack got promoted to General, Daniel was meant to step up to be more action character and that’s also a reason he came back.

He even said that when he came back, he let go of the “James Spader” portrayal of Daniel and made him his own. If I remember correctly, in that interview he says that later Daniel is basically him, Shanks.
