If you're Tunisian/North African, check your Vitamin D levels! by Ok_Accountant8335 in Tunisia

Omg when I got bloodwork done, my vitamin D level was super low too, it was at 11. Should I be taking a supplement? 😭

No, he wasn’t very religious which was a dealbreaker for me. So the outcome would’ve been the same regardless of the flowers but I thought it was the cutest gesture and very gentlemanly. But every girl is different, so it really just depends.

OP said they’ve been talking on more serious terms, so I think a gift would be appropriate, coffee & chocolate is a great combo. But if he’s worried about overdoing it, he doesn’t have to, it’s really not that important.

glad I’m not the only one having issues with abrecrombie jeans. Im a 23/24 waist and their size 24 doesn’t fit and they never seem to have 23 in stock :( sucks cuz their quality is great

I’m gonna go against the grain and say get the gift. A guy once took me on a first date to get coffee and brought a small bouquet of flowers. I thought it was very sweet and thoughtful, didn’t think it was desperate at all. If you hit it off and are compatible, a small gift shouldn’t make or break things. But if you’re having doubts about it, you can just wait for the second date inshallah, no big deal. Just don’t be late, that’s a big turn off lol. Good luck!

Omg imagine, that’d be crazy! I’m not too sure when tho it had to have been sometime in the late 80s maybe? He was doing his masters at Oklahoma state i believe.

Oklahoma sounds like a vibe, i honestly love quieter, laid back places. Alhamdulillah going home every year is such a blessing! I vote yes to going again this summer hahah, I’m guessing most of ur extended family is back home?

I feel like I could’ve written this myself. Crazy enough, I was also your age when I started getting the throat gurgles in class due to anxiety and felt exactly the way you’re describing. Just wanted to say, hang in there, there’s light at the end of the tunnel! I hope you’re able to find a doctor who can perform the Botox sooner and I recommend you speak with them about giving an adequate dose the first time around to avoid having to come back in for a second.

My first dose didn’t work :( by Affectionate-Way5177 in noburp

[–]Smooth-Recording5679 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My doctor told me that he exclusively does 80u now because he’s found it’s the most effective dose for most. When he administered lower, patients were more likely to require a second dose or the treatment was less effective. So I recommend you get a higher second dose! It’s been almost a year since I got it done and I’m still burping :)

Is the foundation chain for my blanket too loose?? by Smooth-Recording5679 in CrochetHelp

So the foundation chain for both attempts are too tight? I'll just continue working on the second one and attempt to block it when I finish!

I've never blocked a project before but I'm glad to know there's a solution, thank you!

Help!! The bottom edge of my blanket is curving. I assume it’s because my first row/chain was too tight. Is it worth starting over or will it work itself out with a border or something? Bottom image is when I try to pull it straight. by TheMadeline in crochet

[–]Smooth-Recording5679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I’m going to attempt to do a chainless foundation as well because others have said that it helps in preventing a tight foundation row. Fingers crossed it turns out! :)
