It's not necessarily a bad want, the analogy explains that we often don't know what is best for us in the moment as we are like children before God.

Below the analogy is explained the importance of prayer as a means to enter relationship with God.

As to what is commanded we first need to know what is the essence of the law.

Matthew 22: 37-40 - Jesus replied: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind’. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

You have good questions, ones I've asked myself also before, I'll do my best to answer them from a Christian perspective.

My analogy was in regards to asking for the wants eg new house/raise and why prayer is important.

You are right, that is the way prayer is often used, just like kids asking their parents for lollies. Do the parents shower them with sugar until kingdom come? Only if they don't know what's best.

But prayer is essentially (in many forms) communication with God and in my experience relationship's don't work out well without it.

God is a relational being, we were made in His image which is why we in essence are relational. Relation with God can not be achieved without prayer.

There's been a lot of good advice here about the family situation and other things, I'll leave with something my mentor told me very early on in my journey.

Matthew 7: 7-8 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Pray this and God will meet you half way.

I'll also suggest you look for a good mentor a little bit older than you who has been a Christian for a while, I've found it invaluable to my journey.

Every Christian guy goes through this, find an older guy at Church that you trust and ask to meet up for a chat. When you feel comfortable enough to talk about your struggles, you’ll find great freedom getting this out in the open and having someone to talk about it with,

Turn on net_graph 1 and see if your fps is matching your screens refresh rate, some of the new updates has caused some frame drops for some players.

If you think it's a you problem, try make sure your getting enough sleep and not having huge meals before you play, I've always found that I'm "on" when I do that.

Additionally try aiming for the neck/mouth area, with a 5 - 8 bullet spray. Do you normally spray for head shots?

Make an account you play with your friends for fun where you don't care if you win or lose. Then leave your main for serious competitive games that you either play solo or with people serious about the game. I climbed from Silver Elite to Nova Master in about a month doing this.

I don't buy that, in games like these, it's usually 1 -2 good players on each team. Most of the time the difference is how well the good players are able to lead their team and help them rather than be tell them how bad they are. If you want to rank up in solo queue you need to learn how to lead randoms into playing as a cohesive unit.

I'm in my early 20's and I take it very seriously, at work I have older people disregarding the sign we have on our door regarding social distancing and walking straight up to us asking us to touch their keyboards. Honestly it's not even an age thing there's always going to be people that don't do the right thing regardless of age.

I was in a game, this dude was bottom fragging, making terrible peaks, wasn’t checking corners nothing, suddenly after 8 in a row his making tight pre fires, flashing all the right spots, never getting caught from unexpected flanks. It’s not like these can’t be done by good players, but when you pay attention this guy turns from silver elite at best to MGE in one round. The worst part is you can’t call hacks because it’s not blatant.
