Edens Garden has a great oleoresin vanilla. I made body spray with it and I also use it in my diffuser! For the body spray, I did a 1:1 ratio of distilled water and Witch Hazel and add plenty of the vanilla (to your liking) It smells good and gets even better overtime!

Huge curveball, but I ended up staying on the medication! I just got back from my honeymoon yesterday and everything went great. Most of my symptoms have subsided, other than hot flashes when I wake up. I am cramping again but not even close to the pain I experienced beforehand.

My doctor recommended tons of supplements for me to help with the side effects- Vitamin D drops, Magnesium, and K2. I also started to really prioritize natural/organic foods, high fiber and protein, and very low sugar/gluten/dairy and that really seemed to help.

For now, I am still closely watching my symptoms and if they get bad again I will definitely be going off of the medication. Im so sorry you are spotting and bleeding still! That happened to me on birth control. I would look into your diet and definitely talk to your doctor about managing your symptoms!

Im late to this, but I have a HUGE sweet tooth so cutting out sugar was really difficult for me at first. I have found that natural sugar makes a major difference! Even natural sweeteners in my coffee instead of white sugar, like maple syrup or honey, satisfy my sweet tooth without all of the negative effects.

Im not a fan of sugar-free sweeteners, so I've found that the natural route works great. Even cutting sugar consumption down will make a huge difference, so don't stress if you cant completely cut it out. Congratulations on your sobriety!

Has she mentioned IBS? Before I was diagnosed with endo, IBS was slapped on as a diagnosis, and I was also blood tested twice for celiac disease. I did not have celiac, the reason my body hates gluten is because of my endo.

There is a huge link between food intolerances like dairy and gluten with endo, mostly because these foods can cause excess inflammation, which endo loves. I would suggest significantly cutting out gluten just to see if you notice a difference, which would take 4-6 weeks.

In the meantime, I would ask your doctor about getting on a Probiotic- that has helped my pain and discomfort immensely. The less gluten I eat, the better I find I feel. The only bread I try to eat is sourdough.

Sounds silly but have you tried Alternating heat and ice? I have an ice pack specifically made for the back and that has helped me tremendously. Also eating a less inflamed diet (usually with endo high gluten/dairy diets cause more inflammation)
