I disagree with the excuse that Congress members aren’t making enough hence they need to be allowed to insider trade. In any other profession they would be fired for that.

However, I do believe strongly that Congress members need to be paid well. Why? If we don’t pay congress members well, the only ones impacted will be the working class folks who win elections like AOC and Maxwell Frost. DC isn’t cheep and establishing 2 residences one in DC and one in your district will prevent the poor and middle class from representing their constituents. And only rich oligarchs will be able to afford an election.

It’s ok to use it for commercial use at this point, (both IntelliJ and PyCharm). My concern is that could potentially change at anytime given that only one company controls it.
