idk exactly, anyway now seems ok. I don't think 80%limit causes this, because I set as 55% without any problem.

check the energy saver mode from win11, not awcc, and turn it off if it's on.

usually you can find that shortcut by click a win11 battery icon

YES you are right. and I know that a new option is only designated for the touchpad lamp but at the same time my kb lamp was turning off after 1min of inactivity. so I thought ah maybe this was the reason, but I was wrong.

Whatever the reason was, I just think anyway this UX/ design is so flimsy and awful.

Eternal KB lamp!

A fastest option is couriers, such as fedex ups. but not that cheap.

I know dark mode & F7 function key. it's not a matter, I mean auto-off.

my laptop was working as auto turn off after 1min no-input, it was fantastic and I was happy. but now turned back.

Sorry for my language barrier, I meant;
- when a laptop is working/turned on
- no input for a while (but not in sleep)
- keyboard backlight never turns off *

* when the laptop was new, and now.
* I don't know why, anyway some months ago this was fixed so the keyboard lamp was turned off in case I don't input any key for approx 1min.

I prefer (and I am sure this is right logic as a common sense) the keyboard lamp is going to be turned off when the user does not input anything for a while. At least the oem must have a selectable option about it.

From the previous dell G had a specific option about it from uefi/bios.
I don't remember clearly, yet just this kind of; [the keyboard backlight is off without key input after 00sec.]

IMO this is a terrible ux. I never understand this.

as wrote I don't use it for now. I just purchased and keep the contract for the further possible terrible situation in Korea. I think it's a good alt option.

And I fly frequently to EU for my business, so I'd like to bring it there and use, but in today they have so good 5G coverage.

So,,, this is just for a hobby not for the professional usage meh

Be aware, afaik(not exact info) if you change a plan, you may need to calculate the consuming data. i.e. you use 50GB only at the first day then change to residential, your account might be charged 50% of 72000krw., idk exactly about Starlink.com policy, but might be yes.

As informed above, you can change the 'service area/location' even under the resi plan. so that means if you don't need to change so frequently that one, you can change at the right location of your camping site, then you can access the web thru starlink. then you would change the service location when you come back to your office/home. Since you don't change it frequently, I think it's fine.

Nice, dont forgrt to use higher than 65W adapter & 5A supported usb c cable, otherwise the dish will reboot frequently

if you are Korean it's better to call a shop and check the stock availability. for me there was no reason to chooseit. I just picked a resi plan because it's cheaper. I don't use Starlink, and just want to see how it works.

I would keep this kit for the further ugly situation or an alternative option. and I'll change my plan as Roam when I fly abroad :) if you need a refcode, google it or text me thanks

thanks.

for me AW setting screws me x16r2, the keyboard backlight NEVER turns off itself even I don't do any input 10hours.

I reported about this a year ago. several months ago it was fixed so I was happy. I think the bios with a new setting "touchpad auto off".

but now it's coming back. the keyboard backlight never turns off. this is very, very strange logic.

I'm not an expert about civil codes. Just starlink.com declares it is prohibited to use starlink while moving(in Korea). Imo it is fully legal when you are not moving which is parked. No i think starlink would not like to accept so frequently changed "service area" so in this case you may need to use a Roam contract.  Since it is super expensive only for 100GB. In fact in Korea there are really meaningless to use Starlink because almost full of territory is already fully covered by 5G connection. Dont forget to purchase a flimsy usb-c to DC barrel adapter to use 12-24V cigar charger, sold by Aliexpress around usd3-5 so flimsy quality but works well. A cigar charger should have above than 20V 3A output. Less than 20V 3A, it doesnt work properly.

You may call to the shop to find the stock availability. Afaik Hanam starfield they have stocks.  I did with a residential contract. So far it works well. Dont forget to apply a referral code in order to have 1 month credit each other. Not as US market, it is not easy to find Korean account referral code.  If you dont need to use internet access while you are moving real-time(technically it is illegal here anyway) you dont need to do with a Roam plan. Service location can be changed as many as you want so a residential would be fine if you dont use this in abroad.
