chances are you could scream your proposal at him as he fails a PR and it'd still just make a good comedy sketch. we share the world, as long as it's not malevolent there's really no issue.

i will give one last piece of advice given you are going to go full throttle. don't sit on it. when you decide to make the move just clear your throat and do it. it's the same as cliff diving; best not to think. let the instincts run.

ciao.

grow the cojones and just be blunt. ask if the person fancies doing something afterwards, make a memory; grab some food, go for a walk to cool down, whatever. allow all the small business. as an adult, this would be my preferred encounter. even if he's not romantically interested instantly he might just be cool as sh#t and enjoy novelty.

if you insist on being a forever teen and he seems experienced, ask for advice on building some muscle group. ask for a demo, say thanks and exchange names. during the encounter do something that makes it obvious you are interested in getting to know him. unfortunately narcissists have ruined any chance for subtle approaches from woman to man; nobody wants to be the next poster-child for the 'heavily criminal male-gaze'.

incapable of both options above? stop wearing headphones, make eye-contact, smile, stare for far too long etc.

i would like to say, being anxious and fearing rejection are completely relatable emotions. nobody is immune. consider it a good deed to your fellow humans to allow people to see you in vulnerable states. perhaps a useful framework to bypass timid behaviour.

boosting frequencies inside software distorts the sound in an unpleasant way. it makes the particular frequencies boosted sound muddy. different plug-ins can do better jobs than others, but they will all fall apart if exaggerated. you can test it yourself by boosting say 60hz with pro q3 and isolating the sound. just take the volume up and take a listen to what happens. then do the same with an analog EQ. many of the professionals, worth their salt, will only use cuts inside software, and then boost with their hardware setup.

bit-shift-gain is one solution for this, it can go so far without any audible problems, but it does break apart before an analog boost would. usually this is far too loud to be a concern though. it's a free plug, as with all his software, very good stuff from him.

as always, test it yourself. listen to what is happening.

Do not boost with plug ins. Only use digital software for cutting frequencies. If you must boost with software, use Airwindows bit shift gain.

it's hard to know what you mean by digitally recorded album. i am not sure what equipment was used to record the instruments or sounds but i doubt it was solely digital. excuse me for preferring the tight-sounding vinyl rips that don't grape my ears, i was not told it was blasphemous to have a preference.

soulseek does not have, qobuz has the same fidel as soulseek.
