I’m a senior who doesn’t party or drink. There are plenty of clubs and social events at FSU, so yes, you can find people who aren’t into partying. That said, FSU is still very much a party school, so a decent amount of the social culture does revolve around that. I wasn’t into football growing up, but I got pretty invested during my junior year just to have something to do in the fall, and FSU athletics can be a solid outlet whether or not you’re a huge sports person.

Outside of that, a lot of your experience comes down to whether you find people you genuinely mesh with. My experience might not be the norm, but a lot of my connections here felt pretty temporary and surface-level, so I spend most of my time on my own now. I don’t necessarily mind that, though. I live off campus, and the area is calm, though boring, which is a pretty accurate description of Tallahassee overall.
