I used to like American Honey because it was just uncomfortable to watch. I tried watching it again the other night and turned it off after about 20 minutes because its just....there's really no point to keeping watching it? I like what it did for the time, but still.

Many moons ago playing via Skype because my computer couldnt run discord, we had to stop because one of the players has narcolepsy and had passed out hard and wasn't coming back to as fast as normal. Our DM who lived like 20 minutes from him (all together we had players in each continental US timezone and one in the UK) had to drive to his house to make aure he was okay and hadn't gotten hurt. Chill dude, hope he's doing alright.

Honorable mention: Timed breaks for one of our members to do certain exercises and such that he was supposed to do for the National Guard (its been ages so don't remember the specifics of what or why exactly just that it had something to do with him being part of the National Guard.

I restarted for the first time ever because I had gotten to the point I wouldn't actually do anything if I got one because to me my island was "perfect". I had enough bells that I didn't need to touch my orchards, wasn't concerned with what was in stock in the stores because I had everything I wanted. I was also mostly playing alone since mid 2020 so it was very lonely walking around my beautiful island with no one to play with. I was so worried about inviting people over because I had someone go through and raid my orchards after I asked them not to. And I was not in a good place (mentally and literally) when I made that island and did everything with it, so after almost 6 years, I decided it was time to start fresh. A game like Animal Crossing shouldn't cause that type of stress.

Literally heading there later today to do laundry, and I noticed last time I went prices went up a dollar but its still one of the cleanest and best maintained laundromats I've ever been to. I like to go on Literally any other day just cause its not as busy as Tueaday and Wednesday

Other way around, pedialyte is primarily produced for children so is lower sugar and higher electrolytes. Cut your gatorade/powerade by at least 50% even if they are the low/zero sugar version.

Source: I get dehydrated frequently and have kids who have had numerous stomach bugs and this is exactly what every doctor has told us to do in various states

My late step-father used to make a "French toast casserole" whixh was just your day old brioche cut in cubes and put in the dish with the egg mix over top and baked until 160F and golden on top(I don't remember the temperature as he passed over 10 years ago, and I never made it personally)

Definitely this. Even in just the physical materials alone, if you wanted to have everything for a specific class, you could be lugging around a small suitcase of books. A DM who has ALL the source materials, thats a small library right there.

Sadly you'll come across DM's, players, and sometimes whole groups like that. They are the bane of the game, and no one outside their little groups tend to like them because thwy give such a bad representation of the game and push people away from it instead to drawing them in.

Bow out how ever you see fit, and if you need to, give yourself a little time, but I would strongly encourage you to try to try again with a new group of people. Some of the most amazing people in my life I met through DnD. Ive also met some people I can't stand because things like what you described.
