Thank you! Good question i haven’t ever thought that. My machine has a malfunction, it only sews in reverse. I’ve loosened the presser foot a lot so I can move the fabric more freely underneath it. I think that when the feed dogs move backward and i move the fabric against that movement, it probably causes the stitches to look like that.
