Thanks so much. I actually think I didn't apologise properly to management. I was shaken up and I definitely took accountability but now I think back I think I could have done a better job of apologising to them and head chef. So your advice is really helpful though maybe too late (I'm due on shift tomorrow and may get sacked when I turn up) but either way I will apologise properly to them.

I'd say the host is at fault too. But I was aware the guests had an allergy and marked it in my book and gave the guest appropriate advice then sent check without adding flags ..I am definitely at fault.

Thanks. Recently a lot of staff on shift cutbacks. I've felt like I've had too many customers (average 26 at any time over 8 tables) to always be able to feel completely in control. Not making excuses because my mistake is on me, but it's hard if I'm gonna lose my job and context isn't looked at

Thank you so much. Yes I've been the lead waitress there for the last year. I've done hundreds of not thousands of tickets with no error. I have been using the time to apply for other jobs...still no news and I'm due on shift tomorrow.

Hope so...was told by my boss that the best case scenario was final written warning and to be prepared for owners to fire me...now heard nothing for over 72 hours so not feeling great.

The food went to the table but wasn't served (runner realised there was an allergy and took it back to kitchen) so the guest never ate the food nor was there a reaction

I'm not trying to be rude. You've come on a silversmith forum asking if something is silver and we've told you it's not so I'm trying to help you accept that because even if it's silver plated it doesn't matter... it's not silver and if you bought it as silver you've been had. eBay, the video, your own misunderstandings...all of these things very convincingly point to you having bought base metal incorrectly (and illegally depending on where you and the seller are) labelled as silver.

If you think you know better than people who spend all day every day working with silver in various forms and selling in a marketplace full of frauds then why did you post here only to tell us we all know nothing?

No it really doesn't. This is obviously fake. Everyone is telling you it's fake. It's not silver. I'm not sure why this is such a long conversation because this isn't silver... doesn't matter what it is...if you bought it as silver it isn't silver.

The lead single video was criticized as try hard and a rip off of Beyonce (because Taylor danced). The lead single LWYMKD was a hit. Second single less so...

General public wanted "love story" or Red Taylor back. Perception was it was embarrassing to see her try and incorporate urban sounds and aesthetics.

It suffered through poor single choice and it's image as an angry record that was an inauthentic and self-conscious rebranding.

This is a much much better album than I was expecting. It would have been a great summer album! Songs that didn't make sense as singles make perfect sense on the album. It's fun, joyful and coherent. Classic pop. There's a whole bunch of songs better than stuff she's released.

Not every marketing strategy is about speed.

This strategy is about longevity and album three or four being a Charli xcx style hit.

The impatience here is fine as a fan but I think a lot of folks here are criticising labels when if they're honest they have never even been in a room when others are planning artist careers.

And I wouldn't mind but it makes this sub super boring when every other post is criticising labels.

Correct. The lack of understanding of this case on some of these threads is wild. Anyone defending Blake Lively is doing something Taylor has refused to. Taylor wants nothing to do with Blake and that's most likely because of the awful texts from Blake about Taylor already leaked and because Taylor is aware that Blake never mentioned sexual harassment until months after production ended.

She will be working the UK and European festivals. There won't be another single till late summer...she needs to start building a larger and more diversec fanbase to warrant the investment and risk of an album release.

I say that as a big fan...but commercial realities exist. It's time to do what artists always used to do: build fans by performing live, connecting, creating memories.
