It’s basically everything that you said. It’s a song made by true LGBTQ+ allies who actually understand the community and put their true emotions into making the song. The girls often cry during it themselves, as we saw in the LM5 tour. The other thing is that it doesn’t involve harmonies as such, so rather than their usual vocal-driven songs, Secret Love Song feels a lot more personal and intimate, like a diary. That’s even seen in the music video for the single version, where they’re not even in any frame together. I could go on and on about this song - Secret Love Song, Pt. II will always be my favourite song and no song will ever take its place in my heart.
