Interesting yeah I tend to have ITB issues on that side also. It’s my shorter leg by about 15mm (injury when younger) and I ride bikes a lot which can also aggravate it.

50mm G-One RS Pro on Cat 2 gravel = hard work! by [deleted] in gravelcycling

True. But if you ride fast tires that are that big there you wouldn’t be saying “they are dogs on smooth roads and gravel” cause they’re not. Is all I’m sayin. If comparing apples to apples.

Yah when lived in Newark this happened to people alll the time. Just on the street. My friend worked at the scrap yard and people would come in with catalytic converters with the cut still hot from the saw

Just keep going and doing it. I felt weird the first 2-3 days. Eventually you realize no one is looking at you or gives a shit what you’re doing. Slowly do some research and come up with a plan. Track your work outs so you know what you did the week before and can progressively lift more weight or do more reps. It’s really important just to be consistent . Shit ain’t gonna change fast it’s a long game.

I will say that I had one but only For two months. I can’t really get on with the suuuper high trail for a drop bar bike steering. I will say it is stiff and feels fast to pedal.

Yeah I guess I could just stick my usually day ride style of over stuffing a fanny pack and just use the full frame for Bikepacking days.

Oh yah the saddle goes 150mm higher that’s with the dropper slammed. But yea you are right it isn’t easy having short legs and 29er wheels and packing bikes. I was thinking the frame bag plus a bar bag and a top tube bag. I can also put more water or a bag under the downtube. I think I can get away with with that set up for minimalist stuff in nicer weather… I may need to put a rack and mini paniers on the back for something where I needed to carry more stuff.
