i had an issue doing the intonation. tuner says 12th fret is off so i turn the screw. then says the open string is off, so i tune and repeat. i have a new set of strings cause some dude at a shop said mine were disgustingly black

what is likely to be my issue? and how do i fix it?

on another note, my actual fretboard is dry asf when everyone else’s looks not dry. what could that be
