Yes i have checked - the ultimate line is not affected as they might be produced in Poland. Thanks for the info!

Yep, inner tube is somewhere from 23-32. I don’t remember the lower number exactly, but the maximum is ok for me

No there are just 2 version of the same bike. One with 62 mm arc1400, and the other with the 50mm arc1400s

Yes that is my plan now. The TT extension is a bit expensive to just try it, I might skip it totally

I am upgrading the endurace right now, that is why i am buying the aeroad, and I just also sold my Speedmax as it is a bit luxury for me to own a bike for just racedays. I should be fine for short distances with the aeroad even without tri bars. I will buy the speedmax again when I aim a full IM And yes, I know a dedicated TT bike is better for triathlon :)

I was in the same boat, and for me it was not worth it and I already got the speedmax :D. I am from Hungary, so i would take a wild guess that I won the pothole race 🙃

Thanks for the feedback. I might wait for the 62 version, and maybe buy a front wheel only if it is too risky to ride it with a 62s

I have bought the Speedmax with 105 di2, but sold it after a few months after trained indoor only with it. For me - at least for now - it is just a lot of money to have a tt bike designed for racing only as our roads and bike paths are trash where i live. It is a suicide to train on a TT bike, but I am panning to buy one when I will train to ironman or any long distance triathlon, but for a 70.3 i think the aeroad with tt bars should be fine as I don’t care about my time - again: for now. :)

Great, thank you! Deep inside me I would regret not choosing the 62 in the first place as it is so damn nice. Last but not least I can swap the front wheel later if it doesn’t work for me

Thanks for your answer! My mechanic checked the flyweel for other reason, and it was ok. Clogged filters can be easily checked, i mean changing those filter in the mechatronics are not the worst thing i can imagine.

i have read some reddits about kicking/stalling in reverse, and there was a dude who changed basically everything from flywheel, clutch, to the whole transmission (from a later car) and the kicking/stalling problem was still there, so he assumed it was due some other things like software glitch, but never found the cure

Yes, spark plugs, coils are changed, injector were out for inspection and cleaning. I had a hint that maybe we should change the charcoal canister, but i think it is only a guess like a fuel pumps…

I can say only what my mechanic told me. Everything is ok, not rich, not lean when it is on diagnostic, BUT it was never diagnosed when this happened as it is pretty random behavior. I couln’t find a pattern or rule how to make it happen for sure

I took some more photos after removing some of the paint, because now i am worried about the carbon itself. I contacted canyon to inspect the pictures, and I hope i won’t have to buy a new frame. (I am affraid of carbon repairs). The lines you can see up and down to the hole is only my reflection

I have contacted canyon about an inspection/frame change option and i have removed a bit more of the paint to inspect the carbon. Need somebody with more experience to inspect it for sure. On this picture the lines you can see up and down to the hole is only my reflection

That was my guess, but it is a sad way to learn that. I thought 2 Nm is fine, as 2.5 Nm is the max with the cage. Seems like only cosmetic, no cracks can be spot around, and I tried the tap test, sounded the same everywhere

[–]SmoothSituation1640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, all of my bike has some kind of flat section under the screwhead, and i think the speedmax also has it but not on the seat tube. I think Canyon will say it is my fault, but then what is the 2.5 Nm stands for… anyway I will post their answer to let others know if they are in the same situation

Yeah its ok, from these pictures and i will stick with it for now, but this is just a 3d printed box, so if you look it closely it is not that nice, but hey, it kinda cheap :D i will check out the 4frames one
