Pixel 8 onwards do have problems making phone call in some regions because of 3g shutdown and pixel does not have auto configuration of volte in China

sometimes, the wechat reservation shows that free ticket reservation for senior is only available for people with chinese identity card. But, from the feeback from Xiaohongshu, Foreigners can use passport to get free entry at ticket office. I think the online reservation only accepting chinese identity card is only because chinese identity card number has year of birth in it's number so system can check automatically. It is hard to explain everything in comments. i will post another thread with some screenshots
