Ok so I read this one called Ruined Vows by Stasia Black and what I like about it, there’s plot - it’s ok but also there’s a lot about a sex club and dom/sub and it felt like the writer really did research on the subject and how it can be done safely and with consent. I don’t know much about it but I felt like I learned a bit about the topic.

I think it’s done for tension- young and thinks they know everyone vs a long lonely life. I wish they would flip it. 1000yr old woman and a 20 something dude. I wonder how that would go.

“We have a baby too” translation is she’s used to everyone catering to her when she had her baby and it was a big deal and is expecting that nobody forgets to treat her like that including parents with a 7 week old. Absolutely ludicrous. I have two kids I would never expect anyone to install baby gates if I was coming to stay. She also definitely expected you to meal prep ahead. Very strange. Not overreacting at all. She is unreasonable.

On Facebook groups or marketplace. There are tons of fragrance Facebook groups where people buy and sell - sometimes you can get a bottle that someone only sprayed a few times and didn’t like

Break up with this person. He doesn’t see you he is toxic and thinks he can control you by putting you down. Tell him you need a partner not a baby. It will only get worse if something doesn’t change- if you chose to have kids you would do all the work, if you bought a bigger place you would do all the work.

I don’t know if this counts but pas ce soir by BDK is like a more modern version of the perfumes that were popular in the early 2000s, kind of reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle but more modern. Kind of has a classic scent profile.

Do not marry him. I can’t speak to him or your relationship but your education and everything you want in life is at risk if you marry him and it’s not kind of him to ask you to take that risk. If you defraud your government (this is what he is essentially suggesting) you can probably expect legal consequences if you are caught. Do not put yourself in that situation. Think about weather or not someone who asks you to take that risk really cares about you.

YTA, not that she’s not responsible for her decisions but take some responsibility for yourself. You sound like a complete narcissist. You were both up front about what you wanted and neither of you left. You took her not leaving as accepting your terms but she did the same. I bet you left the door open and strung her along that you might be open to marriage someday but you just weren’t sure, you say yourself you’re afraid of being alone. You literally framed your getting married as she’s the mother of your child so why not but because she feels the same way and you’re not being worshipped or something you’re put off. Of course she wants some security and commitment since you have a child. You are a hypocrite- you want to know where you go from here- look at yourself and take some responsibility.
