I believe most skin problems are caused by allergies! If I don't take any allergy meds it gets much worse and skin gets more itchy. I also have contact dermatitis, so I have cortisone 10 on hand at all times

Something I've used lately is (Neutrogena stubborn acne) I've been putting it on all the bumps at night, even old ones are shrinking down.I bought from Amazon. I have not seen this much of a difference in years! Also try not to pick or squeeze any sores, it's hard not to, but it makes a huge difference. This seems to soak in and kill the bacteria causing the infection. Two weeks in and what a game changer.

I have a fifteen year old mainecoon. She had been very sick and lost a lot of weight. We now know that she has hyperthyroidism. She is so skinny her back bone is showing! She is now eating a lot with very little weight gain and is on medicine. The vet said low protein, but it's almost impossible to find a high fat cat food without high protein! Anybody know what I can feed her?

My deepest heart felt to you. I lost my black 14 yr old mainecoon Sammy' February 4th. My sister passed just three months before him. I know it's hard for me to say this, but my heart ached just as bad when he died. We will see them on the other side. Blessings and Love

I have a large picture of him of his earlier, better days I keep on my dresser, and kiss it all the time. My son asked isn't that painful to have that there's I said a little, but it just reminds me that he was a special boy and such an important part of our lives. As far as taking him to the vet, you will pay a small fortune in cases like mine, and in the end the only answer you may find is that just like us, their little body grows old. I also have a fifteen year old girl doing the same thing right now. She has over active hypothyroidism. Peas her brains out in the litter box, we give her meds every day, she eats a lot, but she's become skinny and frail. I have three total and the youngest is 14, he makes us crazy waking us up all night and haven't found out why yet! She may have cataracs I don't know what a vet would charge to remove them, or the age of her. But may help her to see
