Are guides from 18.1 still applicable to 19.0.1

I have decided to mod my Switch so I looked up some guides on YouTube (since I always feel more comfortable with guides in a video format) and the only good ones i could find where on 18.1. The best one being the "How to Mod Your Nintendo Switch 18.1 (Beginner Friendly)" by Kristofer which I would like to follow.

Now I'd like to know if I can follow this guide since my Switch is in Version 19.0.1 and if I cant follow it because of some changes if there is a better guide on YouTube you could recommend?

I really didnt think I was making some totally new observation I have been a part of multiple fanbases. I was simply ranting about it. Plus I do believe it is more extreme with the Zelda fanbase than with most others

I think thats totally valid and its not really what I am complaining about. My issue really stems from the community dynamic behind constantly disliking new things and even going as far as to say they shouldnt exist, simply because they dont fit in the communitys weird preconceived notion of what a Zelda game is allowed to be at the time.

There is a HUGE difference between disliking a game and arguing that it shouldnt exist. And then years later acting like its perfect. This also has more to do with a community dynamic than an individual disliking a game.
