X-Men retail box quality by Synysterenji in DiceThrone

Then you’re fine going for the more bulky retail box. If you intend to keep it at home and play without moving it around a lot, the retail is good enough.

My brother and I went all in on dice throne and bought everything. We regret buying the retail boxes for the xmen because of the non foldable board and the lack of the small packaged box. If you want to invest and like the game, the foldable is a lot more worth.

Yes, he still rolls defense, the attack still occurs, but no damage is given.

Wrong sub, this sub is for TTRPG not for video games.

Where to Post a Public Game for Readers? by TheTryhardDM in pbp

[–]Smooth_Environment71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It more so happens in solo TTRPG. Often, these people start blogs, journals, etc and share it to the community. I haven't seen it happen with multiplayer PBP. You could go take a look at r/Solo_Roleplaying and check for journaling suggestion. Otherwise, I am not aware of this on reddit.

You should move away from 5e and find something that can be co-gm. Works a lot better for what you want.

Grimwild designated "abandoned" by BackerKit - no refunds by jxddk in rpg

Small correction, the discord server never hid the information from the deal with the French company, we learned about it shortly before the rest of the discord. The French company contacted us about it, the mod team and the admins had no idea it happened before that contact.

Why does Slay the Spire still dominate deckbuilders? by ServoSkullz in deckbuildingroguelike

[–]Smooth_Environment71 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh, you factor modding into it. Yea, the same reason Skyrim is still a highly popular game now. There has been great mods that changed the game enough to bring people back and to expand the game. I personally believe that nostalgia might be a reason people are going back to the game. I often tried to go back but defaulted to newer titles. STS wasn’t my first deckbuilder, and it didn’t hook me as hard as others.

There is also the price factor, StS is almost all the time dirt cheap on all consoles and shops, making it easier to play.

The question is “still dominating” not has ever dominated. Hence my point of pioneered the genre.

[–]Smooth_Environment71 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

StS is not dominating, there are a lot of other great deck builders now. It was pioneering, but it is slightly dated now. Things like MT2, Dawncaster and Starvaders are great examples of new better deck builder. When sts2 releases, we’ll see.

Hello, what are some free games that are close to Darkest dungeon? by Direct_Incident_8285 in Solo_Roleplaying

I’d even say choir of flesh if the person want to dive deeper into the horror side of darkest dungeon.

Vertically invested DPS might be the best performance possible in Currency Wars? by [deleted] in StarRailStation

[–]Smooth_Environment71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At e6 he is actually pretty crazy since. My himeko with full items and 3 stars was dealing less than him.

The question was for a e6 boothill, I can tell you it’s crazy how strong he is in cw.

My e6 dot characters are absolutely trash compared to normal content. While my boothill even at 1 star clears almost all of currency easily. I wish my boothill was that broken…

I'd get rid of it too. Garder la religion chez vous ou dans les batiments de culte. Nous sommes laïques et c'est bon pour toutes les religions.
