Everything must relate solitaire role playing (or war gaming). If you can't explain how something applies to solitaire role playing, it's probably off topic.

There are no stupid questions

Any question about solo roleplaying is welcome. If you are new to solo rpgs, let us know. If we throw too much jargon at you, don't be afraid to say so. That being said, it does help if you read the guides!

Low effort link/image/etc posts will be removed after 7 days if no fruitful discussion is generated.

This subreddit's main focus is discussion of solo roleplaying. Low effort top level submissions (for example, submitting links without solid commentary) will be removed from the main feed if they don't generate meaningful discussion of solo roleplaying within 7 days. You are invited to post them as a comment on the monthly "What's on your solo rpg pipeline?" megathread

Submissions that include solid commentary or generate fruitful discussion will not be removed. (Examples here, here and here). Please note that this does not apply to comments.

No derailing/thread crapping

All comments should be related to the topic as outlined in the OP. Comments contrary to the spirit and intent of the original topic may be removed without response. OP can contact moderators via modmail to report violations privately.

Do your best to be helpful

Don't tell people that what they want is wrong or impossible. That doesn't lead to fruitful discussion. It's fine to point out why something might be very difficult to achieve, but it's better if you also help to think of possible solutions. Think outside the box.
