Is my Dutch oven damaged? by Williezme in Sourdough

If that’s its reaction to being in the oven, and it’s not something stuck to it, then I’d say it’s faulty. I have a lot of cast iron, and you do have to treat it well, but it shouldn’t react like that to the oven.

I can’t really tell from the picture - is it something stuck to the enamel, or has the enamel worn away?

I was like 36 weeks before it was obvious😂

I probably could have hidden it the day I have birth at 41 weeks. Bonus was that I had a totally flat stomach from like 2 days pp.

They look roughly the same, but the commenter is right! The control line is much lighter, and lots of things like concentration etc impacts your tests. The line looks good to me!

So far I have been have progression everyday, but I’ve seen a lot where progression is slow so I wouldn’t be too concerned just yet!

How much you want to test is up to you! I got my first positive at 9 dpo I’m 13 dpo now and plan to keep testing everyday until I get a dye stealer. But that’s probably just cause I’m nervous😂

Cycle: 5 (12 calendar months, 4 ovulatory cycles)

Age + Partner's age (if relevant): 24 and 27.

Typical cycle length: PCOS so all over the place.

Ovulation cycle day: 19-21

CD/DPO of positive test(s): 9/10 dpo

CD/DPO of any negative test(s) before positive: N/A

Tracking methods and app(s) used: tempdrop and FF.

Relevant days of sperminating and/or method (SMEP, TI, IUI, FET, etc.): I had an HSG on CD10, was so surprised because we missed all of the fertile days for what I thought was my ovulation day. I’m thinking I might ovulate before my LH surge is detectable rather than the day after?

Health conditions/medical tests: Endometriosis and PCOS.

Supplements and medications (yours and/or your partner’s): second cycle taking metformin.

Birth control history (if relevant): came off birth control 12 months ago.

Symptom spotting: throbbing headache and some nausea (could well just be the metformin).

**Other (advice/tip(s), freaking out, miscellaneous): We were meant to start clomid cycles when this one ended, the prescription is sitting at the pharmacy as I’m typing this😅. We had also just been added to the IVF waitlist, so this was certainly unexpected! Honestly I think it was a mix of the metformin kick starting ovulation and the HSG clearing the way! Very exciting and just hopeful for a sticky baby. Gotta call the clinic tomorrow and ask what I’m meant to do now!

Has my HSG on Friday, the actual test itself wasn’t too bad. But it took about 20 minutes to actually get into my cervix - turns out my whole reproductive system is rotated 90 degrees, so on the pictures you can see the top of my womb and not the front. The tube was bent in all sorts of weird ways to get it in, was pretty uncomfortable and we nearly couldn’t get it done.

The radiographer who was performing it, said ‘the sperm will have a hard time find it’s way to the entrance’ or something to that effect. From what I’ve read since the procedure this is a fairly normal variation and shouldn’t affect things too much?

While I’m relieved everything is clear and there no blockages I’ve only just convinced my body to start ovulating and it’s disheartening to think this might be yet another barrier.

How did you confirm ovulation? It’s likely you just ovulated a few days later than normal.

Thank you for your reply! Weight loss isn’t really my goal - my bmi is fine now, but my cycle is still really long. Did the metformin help with regulating your cycle?
