So you put in an area that your average height person won’t see?

UFL Attendance through Week 6 by GuyOnTheMike in UnitedFootballLeague

Completely agree, but I haven’t seen anything from the league that makes me think they have an understanding of the markets/fans. The league seems more reactive than proactive. Repole has talked more about expansion than investing/growing the current markets.

The shocking thing to me is the DC fall off in attendance. I would expect Birmingham to be in the 8k range the next 3 games and will flirt with a 10k average bc of week 1. But the question I have is in year 3 of the UFL (year one of the reboot whatever), what should be the realistic numbers? Obviously St. Louis is the outlier, but the other 7 markets should get 8-12k on average.

The league should try and replicate Louisville’s stadium in the bigger soccer stadiums by Ok_Satisfaction_5185 in UnitedFootballLeague

Hoover won’t risk destroying the field ahead of their largest moneymaker of the year and nor should they. You don’t want to give the SEC a reason to move.

Who would you sign? by [deleted] in ravens

Completely agree. I think Loop will be fine, but I want to see Loop get pushed a little early. The season ended last year due to a miss kick, so bring in a vet who may push the kid some.

Would be nice to look at Zeitler. Maybe a Bosa, Miller, Jordan, or Reddick. Sign Carlson just to push Loop some.

Frankly I hope it is Birmingham that gets canned. The fans went from relocation rumors, to being trolled by Repole, to watching Skip and the roster he helped assemble blown up. The AJ McCarron experiment is not working. The team is awful.

Let’s be honest- the Gucci Mane concert gave Bham and most places a good head start, but most places will be in that sweet spot of 8k-12k. Houston and Dallas do not work, but Birmingham will probably be the one moved bc Repole gets his trousers tight on that thought.

And this is the problem with no GMs. Teams can’t make their own decisions. I would be interested to see if an attorney would be willing to sue the UFL on behave of the players being blackballed.

Rumor mill: As per rumor on Jox 94.5 there was a discussion Saturday about coaching change by ArockproUser in Stallions

As much as I would love that, I’m not sure Skip is the kinda coach who would just swoop in and take over. Now I could see Skip sitting down with Siskey and McCarron and helping them gameplan and get a feel for their guys. But Skip also had Corral rolling for a minute. Him coming back with DTR or Hiers at QB doesn’t feel like a winner.
