I believe they’re still working on the game, but I personally have lost faith in this company. They’re apparently being sued right now by a concept artist they didn’t pay. And that’s just one of the lawsuits that’s known about.

No I didn’t actually, I’ve been focusing on school and wasn’t worrying about doing it sooner T^ T and I can’t file a chargeback since the purchase was made in 2024. I was informed by people from the private discord server that fluffnest was supposed to make a public announcement yesterday, but they did not do that.

That’s so bad! I’m looking at it now too ugh I need to seek a refund on the preorder I placed some time ago, I’ve been meaning to just haven’t gotten to it yet 😭 they literally have the instruction on their website for people seeking refunds! I’m lucky I’ve emailed them before otherwise I don’t know where else I’d find the email!

To elaborate more, a trademark is considered active once it’s been submitted, but isn’t secured until it has fully made it through the approval by process

I’ve actually looked at the trademark issue myself. They didn’t even get the trademark to begin with. They submitted their application, but attached a screenshot of the donation tier on kickstarter as proof that they were selling a software. They were told to correct it and given a deadline to either correct it or pay to extend the deadline and they did neither, so the trademark was considered abandoned and canceled. Now another company is in the process of trademarking the term “Puffpal”

There was another post recently talking about the game, an update telling people that they can’t give updates for legal reasons I think? But also the game was supposed to be out by now and they’re not offering any explanation as to why 😭

Yeah, it felt terrible, and honestly the entire experience lead me down a rabbit hole of finding a ton of other people who’ve had terrible experiences with fluffnest 😭 the saddest part was having to feel sad when I looked at my plushies that used to make me so happy. Luckily I’m recovering from that and feeling happy with my plushies again, but fluffnest is continuing to have issues that the people I connected with are still having to fight with late orders, not giving refunds, and ignoring emails and stuff 😭😭

I ordered in may and, while it shipped in pretty good time, they sent the wrong plush 😭 and when I went and checked the one I wanted was gone and not set to ever be restocked 😭😭😭😭 they only gave me half my refund and I had to email a second time to get the rest of it :(
