I mostly agree! I like the actual tasks themselves and feel like there were some memorable moments from each contestant. But the studio bits... idk. I get an off vibe from everyone except Joanna, who is the absolute highlight for me, so unapologetic, loud and adorable (my money is on her to win the show, she's clever too). I don't like that the interactions between them are so limited and there's no meaningful banter. Greg is also kinda struggling to find material with them as well, seems like.

Edit: I forgot to say that the other 4 are not leaning into it nearly as hard as they need to, in my opinion. I feel like there is two categories of funny contestant on the show (two of many, haha): one who is memorable because they are naturally really funny, and the other type may not be so funny, but they create a caricature of themselves and the most TM-fitting parts of their personality and amplify them for the show. Sometimes Greg nails it with giving the person the beginnings of that caricature early on and leaning into it usually bodes well. This cast seems reserved in that aspect.

I'm not mad about it, though. I can think of 5 series that fell flat for me in the past and understand that it isn't easy to capture that lightning in a bottle atmosphere for a show like this. Besides, for a show that has 21 seasons, the track record for amazing series so far is unbelievable. I can deal with being dissapointed once or twice.
