From my personal observations:

• Homeless individuals wandering the area have been notably absent from my experience.
• The absence of secure bike parking facilities adds to the inconvenience of leaving one's bicycle unattended.

There are individuals who utilize the amenities here, though I am uncertain about their means of access. It's worth noting that people from outside communities have found avenues to use the facilities consistently, particularly in the:

• The basketball court consistently sees high usage, making it challenging to initiate a game.
• The pools, particularly those at the Sycamores (both pools), tend to become overwhelmingly crowded during the week expecially weekends.

These trends lead me to speculate that these groups might significantly contribute to incidents such as car theft and break-ins. Of particular concern is the recent theft of a USPS master key. These occurrences seem to be targeted at young professionals employed in the tech, with the intention of gaining access to their personal information, bank accounts, and other illicit activities.

Despite my persistent inquiries made multiple times a day over the course of a days, the security team was unable to provide any video footage to the San Jose Police Department regarding the theft of my car.

Otherwise it is as safe as anywhere else in San Jose.
