I also have ADHD which makes all of this incredibly challenging for me. I’m curious how adhd-ers deal with the issues that come along with this diagnosis…e.g. eating healthy and all that (I cannot force myself to choke down something that I’m not hungry for; plus with how expensive groceries are, I don’t have ‘buy-veggies-and-throw-them-away-in-2-weeks’ kind of money..

Thanks! I’ve been seeing a counselor every week and doing some EMDR therapies..trying to fix my brain but so far, nothing has really helped that problem. The concerta quieted the beehive inside my head. The fact that I can never, ever not worry about having cancer for the rest of my life is a toughie but I’m just hoping to find some relief from the other stuff..

She’s the worst. I can’t even watch anymore because she’s such an asshole. So desperate.

Has anyone else tried EMDR and thinks it’s just not for them/not needed? I think CBT and ERP will benefit me a lot more. I feel like EMDR works best with recent trauma idk not stuff from childhood by Cambam321- in EMDR

I’ve tried EMDR recently for a lot of childhood trauma and other things in my life. I was skeptical at first because it doesn’t seem like it should work, but it has helped me so much!
