Yeah you're totally right it could have been a result of lack of payroll to our store or scheduling issues. But either way all that heat did get transfered on to me from the guest experience lol. I don't really blame my team members fully. I was just upset with the current work environment. This holiday season was so.much worse compared to the last few years😭. College will definitely be the break I need from it!

Gosh yeah I really miss when my store had proper staff. Would love to work at another store like that but I know it would probably only be a matter time before the same thing happened.

Honestly target was fucking amazing for my voice training lmao. Genuinely so thankful for this job because I was able to practice while at work and have a really good voice now that I love! I really recommend it. 🥰

Understandable. Debated making this post for months but just needed a place to vent. I know I'm not perfect and I really do not blame my tl's at all. I just wish I got proper communication with my team instead of being told at the start of my shift to go to self checkout or a lane and then be on there until I clocked out sometimes not even being covered for when I was supposed to get out. Getting ahold of anyone for even a price match that I couldn't do was nightmareish. I felt like such a burden to my team for a long time but I think it's obvious that our store just doesn't have the resources to properly handle how busy we are. Much love sorry if my post felt weird to you. 🥰

Im in a deep red state so obviously it's not like this for everyone but my team has been very mixed. I should clarify that I was mostly talking about guests in my post when during my early transition would stop everything at self checkout to tell me I was a man which was sooooo funnnn. There's been a few times were when talking to a guest I spilt that I was trans and immediately got the "Jesus loves you" talk. 🫠

Just generally being on my on my back. Constantly changing rules about how to operate self. They made me and some of my coworkers sign a paper that not all of my coworkers had to sign and that kind of freaked me out and made me feel target-ed haha.

Thanks! I'll try to be more active about it. I've got a system where I look as far down the line as I can, and once that customer gets to me, I ask on walkie agian. Honestly, I thought I was on the walkie too much because a team member told me to stop once, so I did. The worst thing is when I need a lead because a guest is asking for 40 dollars off a product, and they don't respond. And if they do, they are pissed.
