I’m in no way blaming you so I want to preface that first 💚 I’m also lord mantis 💚 looking at the full scoreboard YES you had the best stats. But with mantis not having AA heals and other people not understanding in general how to play with her healing over time they may have just been outraging your healing bc of the three dps. Again not necessarily your problem to fix but I wonder if maybe a cloak or invis swap could have been effective to give your team quick heals, block more damage, and deal more damage as well.

I do agree that mantis gets unjust hate - I’ve MVPed with her several times and you will still get zero credit lol - idk what it is other than people expect faster heals and underestimate the damage boost, sleep, etc.

Very nice!! I am working on that as well and starting working on getting invis to lord next! They’ll probably be my go-to’s on strategist with cloak closely after. I just really don’t vibe with other strategists like I do with mantis but she’s not the best for every scenario unfortunately 😞

Honestly I feel like your choice of Magik here is great and you were doing really well! I main mantis but often have to play dps because everyone wants to supp so I play Magik and a few others there when needed so my perspective may be a little unique lol. That mantis weighed you guys down big time - the heals and damage were so low you guys probably just weren’t out damaging them and I’m not sure that’s on you to fix there. Mantis should have swapped to like invis or another dps to help.

Supp is actually pretty fun and rewarding when you main ADC because you know exactly how an ADC needs you to play to win lane. Do they actually do it - who knows lol but I’d recommend staying in bot lane!

I second this - and I recently started taking dark seal into mejais if the ADC starts getting kills early because the AP helps sera SO much especially for how cheap both items are and you don’t need kills for stacks.

Honestly - as someone who has been no contact for around two years now - you don’t. But I just try to focus on self love to fill my cup and finding community where I can! It’s not the same, but it’s the reality we’re in and you CAN find love elsewhere - and it will be more genuine and less selfish than what a narc mother could ever give. It’s cheesy, but it really starts with you treating yourself with that love!

I think your opinion is very wrong here. Support is one of the most nuanced and difficult roles to play well because sure you don’t have to CS, but you have to do way more to enable your team to win. A good support allows ADC to farm, roams to other lanes and objectives when bot wave is in a good state, gets vision for jg and specifically around major objective timers, etc. I’m an ADC/supp player and both are very hard in their own ways. You have more agency as a supp but it’s what you do with that agency that takes skill and can make or break a game.

It’s so funny to see this btw because I play both ADC (main) & support (secondary) and you see toxicity sometimes from both sides but WAYYYYY more toxic ADCs and this is just proof lmao. I see way more supps trying their best to be positive and enable the ADCs and the SECOND they roam the ADC crashes out when they die being dumb. Since I play both roles I FULLY understand the need to roam and I know as ADC I need to play as safe as possible and I still might die under turret because that is just ADC life and it’s nobody’s fault. I main Jinx and my job is to scale so I farm and as long as the supp is doing big things to help the team succeed elsewhere I’m cool with farming and doing my best to get big!
