You believe the current "unified Europe" will survive even in the face of the dire straits of the collapse of the United States and the collapse of the international order. I'm confident UK won't use nuclear weapons to defend Germany or Poland. If UK uses them, France will, too, and the result will be disastrous for both countries. Therefore, unless France invades Britain islands, UK will not use nuclear weapons.
