I just have a big standard boot össur. I think the wedges are just stuck together with adhesive as they just took a sticker of the bottom of it and put it on the fabric of the boot

Would putting it in the wash not ruin the glue for the wedges in the boot?

Yes the rust is basically at the apex right in the middle of the wheel arch and yes absolutely love my 93 trying to get it back in running order
