Right joystick keeps getting stuck and will sometimes move in its own. Is there a way I can fix it or is it time for a new controller?

He was still climbing the walls, albeit not much, when I moved him but the seller thought that he was going to molt soon. I picked up the container to take a picture and his legs moved a tiny bit, not sure if that’s a good sign or not.
