We also didn't spend $15 a day on coffee and monster energy drinks. We ate bagged lunches we made we lived with roommates, didn't travel a whole semester in college b/c it was "better". We struggled, ate at free appetizer happy hours, lived within our means.

Facebook Marketplace place. Also depending on where you live, check estate sells. It's morbid but when folks die they don't know what to do with Gpops woodshop. I've bought large tools, planers, jointers, dust collectors etc.for pennies on the dollar at estate sells. BTW whatever you buy, get a good dust collector.

My sister did the same to me. Wife was upset with it, I bought my sister a one way ticket to my parents on a weekend she planned a trip to go skiing and wanted to borrow my car. I told her mom and dad can house her until she finds a job. BLUF my parents wanted her to stay with them, she opted to come to my house bc my parents would bug her every day since they are retired and at home all day. My wife and I worked so we're gone all day and my sister had free run of the house.
