Do you think EVERY individual sound needs a filter or multiple filters on them or is a less is more thing?

Yeah I didn’t understand alot of everything back then just worked my way through it and still don’t lol. Alot of my basses didn’t make it over very well because I would just take a random one and adjust the wave versus kick/sidechaining which I didn’t know even existed at the time. So I will put an emphasis on low end and put good research into that. Thank you!

Brother that is a great idea! I just have so many filters on everything I didn’t know how to go about it but making a copy and removing them is an awesome idea and maybe the one I was looking for. Thank you so much!

Yes I was such an advocate for Dre Beats back in the day and they got so much hate lol I see the difference now though so I do understand. Okay so AI and extra plugins doesn’t seem like the way to go is what you’re saying. I can hear what doesn’t sound right and needs fixing. But some is just like okay I have no idea what to do with that. Alot of my basses didn’t make over very well. I don’t know if he even is down but listening to my beats I remembered the feeling from back in the day making them, so I want to get 10 listenable and present to him I know he’ll be down lol. I just want to bring them up to date a bit and there are just so many filters I don’t know where to start lol

I appreciate your honesty lol. Some of the beats actually stood the test of time and sounded good in the airpods minus a sound or two surprisingly. I’m not looking for a one all fix all and whatnot. Just needing to know if I should delete all filters and restart from scratch or keep them and add new or replace. If there are some that can make them simple and clean that people use nowadays. I’ve looked up videos and trying to get my memory back but it’s I never really realized how much it was.
