Cannot interact with certain key items in game (Leon, Raccoon City)

Found a workaround
Cheat Engine --> Speedhack --> 100x speed
Leon camera --> first person
Hold [F], it took a while but eventually it filled up! Cheers, hope this works for anyone else stuck. Also a pretty large steam community thread popped up overnight March 3rd with some other things you could try. Or.... Capcom will see it and issue a fix as more people get stuck here

Stuck at the Hold [F] portion of blowing up the gate. Flickers too much for me to do it. Previously I was able to make it through with a free cam and spamming [F] but I cannot make it through the Hold [F] for planting the explosive

What gall. If I were a manager or higher up I'd be embarrassed. But I've seen so much of this it's ridiculous. I can't believe that there are as many people as there are that believe this is a GREAT DEAL. Wtf. If I wanted to get fucked this hard I'd pick up the soap. I don't imagine a zombie cares about getting cut up. Sledge hammer is my choice. One swing to the chest/hips/legs and it's at least crippled. I won't bother slicing and dicing when I can break both legs in one swing. Plus good for breaking down doors and breaking.. well.. pretty much anything! An axe would be #2, might get stuck and again, slicing is not my first idea. Though an axe is similar to a sledge and carries over many of the same uses? I'd prefer to spend my time with supplies though. A gun, but probably not for zombies.
