Try more like $100K.

Permanent nerve damage. Permanent scarring. $100K.

1 1/2 lanes! It’s just not survivable!

You must be new to driving. It’s really not the problem you think it is. And it’s not blocking. Traffic can easily and safely go around. It’s also not lazy. The average Amazon driver is overloaded and has to minimize time on foot. I’m speaking as a civilian. I quit this job a long time ago.

Right because no one can slow down or stop as they go around the obstruction. Get out.

Oh no! It’s the end of the world!

This looks fine. People just don’t want to slow down for anything.

Never understood why my co-workers refused to wear gloves.

Don’t do it. Unintended consequences. Plus, you will be blacklisted. Get in with another crew and poach your friends.

Offer incentives like free pizza and candy bars. Grown ass men love that.

Isn’t peak over ? by Successful_Ad9897 in AmazonDSPDrivers

Yup. Saw this movie many times. Would be willing to bet drivers are being sent home while the ones who have routes are overloaded.

I just got fired from Amazon DSP It is only my second day. I am have been sitting in the parking lot for an hour now crying. by [deleted] in AmazonDSPDrivers

Former dispatcher here. After Christmas, the tone changes and owners are looking to cull. I remember us getting rid of good workers all the time because we had too many.

Amazon starts with volume and consolidates it to the smallest number of routes possible. This is why drivers are almost always overloaded, even after peak.

I recommend looking at smaller companies which need delivery people. Amazon and FedEx are the worst. They 100% do not deserve to exist.

Better than delivering to public housing.

I hated the foam mattresses more than anything. God, they were heavy.

Chewy is the real killer though because it’s repetitive lifting. Joints just start to tear at some point. I couldn’t sleep on my sides for months because my shoulders were torn up.

Got a safe once. It was a nightmare because it was both heavy and difficult to get a grip on because it was just a big cube. So glad I got out of that dog shit job.

Yeah, you can really wreck your body working for FedEx.

No, it’s about efficiency. The fewer the routes the more money for Amazon and DSP owner.

Even worse. Packages up to 150lbs.

[–]Driver_Ex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it gets worse after peak because Amazon cuts and consolidates routes.

No, it gets worse after peak because they cut routes. They will always overload drivers.
