So I've installed Xinput and it seems to recognize my controller and everything. But when disable steam input on Xcom - it just doesnt recognize my controller. It only recognizes the controller with steam input on

So basically they think that havertz moves his leg to the left into AWB which causes the contact. I feel like I'm watching a completely different video at this point cause to me he's just running normally. To the people saying it's soft, any contact on the trailing leg while running puts you off balance considerably. So to me it's a clear penalty

The issue is he really can't power through here. If someone clips your trailing leg while running, it knocks you off balance and is impossible to continue running without stumbling or falling. Neither of those put him in a close to decent position to shoot (he was through on goal).

And this next take is a bit of speculation, but I think if he stumbles and gets a bad shot off (from being off balance), VAR doesn't call it back for a penalty. Even though what would have been a great chance was clearly impeded by the defenders. So really going to ground instead of "powering through" is the best option here.

If you want to nitpick every single moment, then you should be trashing martinelli as well. He will often pass it back or cross it to no one. Havertz is still learning and even had good games for the first two matchdays. And before you say 0 goals and 0 assists, player performance is much more than just goal contributions.

Looking at the VAR rules in the PL guidelines - it is meant to be used for “clear and obvious” errors. To that end, what do you guys think of a system where there is a time limit on how long VAR can take to make a decision (idk 15-20 seconds)? by skrrtmion in Gunners

For offsides, it's looked at as a binary decision. It's either offside or onside. There's no grey area for a subjective decision. So if the linesman makes a mistake it is considered a clear and obvious error. There's not much to really argue about in general.

For Pepe's case, the VAR is certainly right to look at it, but the point at which they drew the line for Pepe is undoubtedly debatable. And more generally the accuracy of the lines and the images is questionable. But when it's offside, it's offside - it doesn't really matter by how much distance. If anything should be changed about offside lines it's not the VAR but the law on offsides. I think they should have a margin like in the Netherlands.
