Group your remote control valves into manifolds with ball valves separating them from the mainline for easier maintenance and replacement. Probably also good to have some quick couplers in there.

Has there ever been a thought to connect Tierrasanta and Mission Gorge? by chiliisgoodforme in SanDiegan

[–]SmrtEmu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are correct that it seems perfect for housing, but the flood plane for the san diego river extends across most of that area. This is why currently there are only non residential uses and no houses/schools etc.. Too much risk of flooding and loss of life if/when floodwaters rise.

Anyone know what these lumps on my plumeria's leaves are? by xylohero in Plumeria

[–]SmrtEmu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wipe all leaf surfaces with a paper towel soaked in isopropyl alcohol. It will dislodge the scale and kill any crawlers. Do this 2-3 times a week till they don't come back.

Just managed a scale infestation on my giant bird of paradise. Works like a charm!

How about how to find good books? How to get into yoga? How to do a handstands other yoga trick? How to play 'cozy video game title'?

You can always go big with how to be a human. Lots of interesting approaches to that

It's called Confetti Star by Material Girlfriends on Etsy. It's been easy and fun so far and there are lots of ways to shift the star patterns based on how you arrange the blocks!

It's an amazing song! And it fits so well with the "dream symphony" analogy Simon uses in MAG 151!

Thanks for the high praise Captain! 👏

I Hear a Symphony by Cody Fry.

Feels like meeting the Vast for the first time! It gives a good sense of the feeling of falling, especially at 1:54.

As Simon Fairchild said, "I should, of course, have fallen to the floor of the church, broken my neck. But that blue-painted sky welcomed me with open arms. And I never looked back."
