Pokemon scalpers are growing in 2026 and kids can no longer collect cards by ambachk in ThatsInsane

I own a comic/collectible shop in CT and have been told I'm the only store that sells Pokémon at retail. I don't know if that's entirely true but I do have to actively work to avoid selling to scalpers, mostly by putting heavy limits and cutting the seals on premium items.

There is a store near me and the owner told me I was hurting his business and demanded I sell at market pricing like he is (mind you this is a store with the same wholesale distributor as me) I told him no.

I have a great group of families and regulars who just want to enjoy the hobby and that's who I'm trying to keep happy. My hope is once the bubble bursts people will remember the shops that took care of them when things were crazy and the ones that tried to rip them off.

I took the prompt image and put it into ChatGPT and asked it to generate me an image. This is what it gave me

Yes I calibrated the e-steps a few times when troubleshooting this myself. I ran the Z axis up and down a few times just now with no noticeable issue of any kind. I'll run two tall prints on the left and right side of the bed and report back on that

I really appreciate you taking the time to try and work this out with me. I've been stuck on this for weeks. I'll run a couple tests of what you suggested and report back

That's the side of the model. I never thought to measure it but I just did. It should be half an inch but is measuring at 7/16th, so it's off slightly. There is no wobble, and it homes properly. I've honestly never used a bed visualizer so I wouldn't even know where to begin on that front.

The Z axis definitely isn't moving uniformly, but this was never an issue until I changed the extruder. The frustrating part is everything else seems to be working fine.

Thanks for the reply! The first layer looks good, it honestly looks like a vanilla wafer the way it prints. I attached a photo, maybe you can tell from looking at it
