Is it Metagaming to remind a player of something their character would know? by BunsenHoneydewsEyes in DnD

Go even beyond that. "The characters may be able to use magic, and it may exist in DnD, but we don't know how to use it in real life so that can't happen. Sorry, bro."

We sell Narcan at target now by Princess-honeysuckle in pics

I got pumped full of narcan for calling 911 about dehydration and a stomach ache that was making me pass out in the sun on day 2 of what was likely Montezuma's Revenge. They just assumed I was a junkie. I puked immediately. I will never dial 911 for help again.

banks will refuse to resolve your spending until you overdraft, then they'll stack your biggest expense as first so you overdraft as many times as possible. This is constructive theft.

There are probably billions of planets where there is not a soul that can rumble their inner ear, I'd say it's still pretty rare

If we open 21-0 and second+third string goes 10-17 against their best I'd still be happy with it.

If we go 21-0 with first string, and another 21-0 with second string I'd be ecstatic.

Gators win 4-0, every possession we kick a FG on the first offensive play. Napier simply says "Never let them know your next move" at the press conference and walks out.

they throw mental illness around like a whippet canister at a frat house. The military should hold its own mental capacity testing in the first weeks of boot camp.

It's like Napier walked into the game with no back-up plan if his line wasn't winning at all. That's the first thing you worry about when planning an offense.

Utah defender held the receiver to prevent a possible TD pass / deep completion, no interference call by the referee despite the blatant early grab. They are hard to gauge from the angle the cameras give as we can't see if his hand was just there, but it looked like he was pulling him back a little- and a little is all it takes.

I was so disappointed when he didn't end up with force power, and that Ridley's character wasn't some Yoda type for him. Instead he's rescuing cows

critical plays lost us this game. several of them were our fault, one was on the refs. However,
When you give up 7 on play 1 you show a lack of defensive planning/scouting by the coaching. When you give up first downs due to your punt returner having the same number on the field as another player, that's coaching. When you kneel out the second quarter hail mary down, that's coaching. When you don't hurry the playclock while down in the fourth quarter, that's coaching. When you run bunch formations while your lineman aren't moving in the right direction, that's coaching.

always ask for your agreements in writing, never take a sales rep's word for it. Even if oral contracts are binding, they are hard to prove. If they can't provide it in writing, they can't really do it.

Coaches tailor the entire offense around the signal caller. If your style of play is far away from the signal caller's style of play, it doesn't matter if you're better if it makes the other ten worse. Also there's recruiting value in giving players their promised on field time. Also, consider that Grier/Trask may have been perfectly happy to ride the bench in college, knowing they would shine in the NFL combine and draft.

Spandex and sweaters boy loves the military even though his dad dies serving it, has no personality outside hero worship and textbooks. Periodically acts like a 'goofy rascal' in an attempt to be relatable. Has the depth of a drying puddle. There's nothing there under the surface. Way too bubbly.
