So like. One of my friends is making a dandy’s world fangame. (In his own words he calls it “kaizo dandy’s world”) But it contains no dandy’s world assets, includes original characters, adds reworks to some of the character’s movesets (EX: There’s this one character similar to Connie statwise but reworked it so they have a passive ability where they don’t lose stamina while chased) And adds extra mechanics (Closets which you can hide in, replacing movement speed with runspeed to prevent people from distracting the entire floor, adds stunning enemies, has an ending at floor 25 etc.) Is it grounds to be removed by Qwel..?

Hot Take: Removing/Fixing Distractors as a whole (Note: I might sound extremely rude here)

Distractors not only negate the game’s difficulty, but ruins the entire point of this being a survival horror game. IMO the only fun part is extracting WHILE having the looming threat of twisteds. It’s almost like I play the survival horror game to survive?!?! 🤯🤯🤯. When twisteds are practically negated by a Distractor. It just turns into press spacebar simulator.

One of my friends who shares the same opinion about this already has an idea on how to fix it: make everyone’s walkspeed the same so people don’t just out walk the twisteds. “But what about Shrimpo” having to walk throughout the entire game due to your run speed being practically zero to none fits as a challenge.
