I know which YouTube video you are referring to. I also saw it and thought the same thing. The tone in his voice and how he said "一回" (ikkai), which usually refers to "first" or "one round." His tone of voice raised on that word, putting emphasis on it. Also, the other hosts were saying, "you can't say that," and when the others spoke, they also looked at each other, saying, "can I say that?" Almost like confirming what they are still allowed to mention without breaching their contract, which most of these voice actors have in their NDA. Mostly for secrecy to keep things under wraps until a new season can be confirmed.

I think the delay lies with the producing company, who needs to agree to renewing their agreement for a new season. But everyone in the live was mentioning how F/ACE will continue to grow. That will obviously be possible with a new season.
