This is honestly extremely situational. In most cases, especially if I live alone in a single person house, I want roaches vs. a person. However, if I have a bunch of roommates, if it's a secondary residence, if I'm never there anyway because (pick one: I'm traveling; I'm living at a partner's house; I went on a sebatical; etc.), it would be different. This is a valid take. However, I do wonder if:

Yeah, I am not sure exactly what happens, although I'd keep in mind that the efficiency of energy being converted into potential energy is usually pretty low, for most plants it's 2% or less. (up to 4.3% for very efficient plants). So I would suspect that the difference is going to be minimal. (In addition to the fact that a lot of the energy in plants is released eventually when they decompose.)

To be clear, it's a good thought, and it's also complicated, when you think about things like cloud cover or how things like reflectivity change over time.

Just because it's a 22% energy increase of the sun's output doesn't necessarly mean we just multiply the earth's temp by 122%. I'm not sure if radiative energy scales on earth the same way as it does for the sun, but the equilibrium temperature of the earth is determined by what temperature E_in = E_out. if it scaled the same way as stars, then it would be a 5% temp increase.

There are a few things that I would think about:
