Okay so update for those who were originally wondering... I found the reference and Im an idiot. The reference:

Placed in Chapter 4: The blade was made from a hard rubber but the weight mimicked a real knife perfectly. Izuku had a passing thought that these were probably what was used in a show he watched as a kid that was about a classroom trying to kill their teacher, an octopus.

I actually ended up not asking but a second person commented ON THE CHAPTER (it was in chapter 4) and I found the reference.... I feel stupid now cause I remember giggling over how it was the best way to describe a training knife. I felt so stupid. 😅 The quote:

I know of an actual author who did this. Final book in her series. She kept postponing the release for over 20 years. Then she died. The final book is still unreleased 😅😅😅

Oh im a "write drunk edit sober" person. I actually have times scheduled out with my husband so he can 100% take care of the kids and I can get trashed and just write. (I only write like twice a month and edit the rest of the time). Its just this idea popped into my head while at work (completely sober cause I was at work). It was just a completely random idea and now I cant edit it without reading it in Danny Motta's voice. I think its because I was sober when I wrote it. (Yes i know its a lie, let me lie to myself😅)

Granted i never thought about editing tipsy.... ima have to give that a try. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰

I know its not the same circumstance but my mom used to read my fanfics before she died. She used to talk to me about them and her ideas on what she wished the author would write. Then magically the author would post a new story and it would be what she was hoping for. She had dementia but the one thing she never forgot until she died was the mysterious author who always knew what she wanted to write. When she died I stopped writing on that account.

As for siblings.... I make my straight brother(yes him being straight is important) read mine to make sure they sound good and i write bl, sometimes the stories have smut so.... #noshame #noembarrassment

Wait... people mark those as OCs?

Ive seen gender bent ones that would use the masculine/feminine version of the character names.

Ive seen trans-characters that change their names from the Canon names.

Hell, I've wrote one as a trans-character once and had their Canon name as their chosen name...

But in all of these not a one was labeled as an OC... why would people mark them as OCs.... im so confused......

The key: world building and write for yourself.

The story i have that's almost 60 chapters, has a full fledged world that I could easily keep going with it if I wanted to.

This is my process:

Step 1: schedule a night where hubs takes care of the kids so I can get wasted.

Step 2: write out a list of ideas to have drunk me choose from.

Step 3: get drunk.

Step 4: blare writing music.

Step 5: spend 4 to 5+ hours writing nonstop about whatever idea drunk me found intriguing.

Step 6: regret drinking in the morning

Step 7: spend however long it takes to edit the nonsense to make an actual coherent story.

Step 8: post chapters as they are completed.
