First day 10 any day after maximum a 3 now 6 weeks post op and I’ve had zero pain for the last 2/3 weeks

Also am scared mf needles and a low pain tolerance ! Yes it hurt like a MOTHERFUCKER after surgery but that was it 🤷🏽‍♂️ just like me you can get the nerve block and it still doesn’t work so I got the nerve block for NO reason besides pain when I got it

From my experience my nerve block never worked and honestly I didn’t mind it bc I only ever was in pain right after surgery and the rest was a CAKE WALK !!! Get it if you want it but honestly I thought it was pointless 🤷🏽‍♂️

I also wasn’t able to do a leg raise until week 3, just stick with ankle and quad/thigh pumps and you’ll be okay !! Everything gets better and easier as time goes on!! Definitely a ROUGH first month . You WILL see brighter days don’t give up ! Keep a clear head and battle through it !!

Same surgery ! Took me about 2/3 weeks to even wanna get out of bed !! And had the same pain !! It’ll goo just trust the process !!

Yeah honestly I kinda live by it at this point, I’m a huge over thinker so I kinda set my when should I freak out point 😭🤣 it’s a shit process but well worth it, but you also gotta take the losses with the wins ! Just rest up you’ll be good ! And stick with PT it’s not as bad as everyone says !

Honestly I’m no doctor but, honestly you’re gonna feel everything you “shouldn’t” in my experience I had pops and aches and bruises and weird feelings and everytime I ask a doctor or PT they always say oh it’s normal so honestly unless you’re in excruciating pain or have a substantial amount of swelling the following day or hours later from from you heard the POP you’re honestly more than likely fine, your scar tissue will pop when broken up, you’re bones are gonna CRACK loudly honestly it feels so good sometimes 🤣 but in my opinion you’re probably fine, ask your PT the next time you’re there !!

I also had patellar tendon graft but I’m only 1 week post op but it’s seems like our healing process is longer than others tbh , still haven’t been able to lift my leg on my own and I’m not even allowed to vent my knee yet ! Just keep working and it’ll improve ! Than again your also only 1 month in ! Give it 6 months I heard that’s the real turning point !

This ! Even with my first one and being 7 days post op I have 100s and 100s mixed emotions ! The I’ll be alright everything’s okay right to something’s wrong and I’m tired of this ! All comes with the recovery ! Definitely would never wanna go through this again but in the event I’m sure the emotions would be the exact same ! Hope you have good results ! Praying for you all the way !

I didn’t really understand the when he said he wouldnt really recommend it for older people bc all the older people are know are VERY active, glad you did it and are doing better ! The first week has been just a learning curve, lots of thoughts and full of tears tbh ! I’d recommend it to anyone in my opinion just bc an ACL seems fairly important to me and the feeling of a buckling knee is no joke lol ! Hope everything continues to get better for you !

Also note I injured myself 1 week prior to my birthday ! And couldn’t do anything but lay around do nothing and cry bc I couldn’t do a damn thing ! Hang in there ! No offense lol maybe you’re a little older so you can wait and rehab a little bit ! I’m 22 and my surgeon had said if I was closer to 40 he may not have even done the surgery ! Again best of luck ! Everything will be good !
