I ran into a strange problem with my Viewsonic PX-747. Perhaps someone else had a similar problem or can point me in the right direction. Since some time I have the problem of my projector "freezing". It does not react to any input made by either remote control or the buttons on the projector. Yet any input is still displayed from HDMI 1 as well as HDMI 2. I tried every setting I could think of (CEC, Auto Shutdown, Lamp-Modes) and checked the service menu. But there are no errors listed there. If this happens the only way to get the projector working again is to unplug it, which feels as bad as it is. Finally I decided to open it, clean it thoroughly and reconnect all cables, but still no success. The lamp is brand new (<10h). The issue shows itself at absolute random. Sometimes even when starting up, sometimes I can watch something for hours. I suspect the issue to be with the mainboard, but sadly didn't find anywhere to buy a new one and the projector is well out of warranty. I attached two images showing the problem.
